ZERG ENERGY LTD understands the importance of Management/Board of director’s intervention in providing good and exemplary leadership towards the actualization of safety goals and objectives. In appreciation of safety principles, and ideas, management is committed in providing strong, feasible and exemplary leadership to boost HSE performance and credibility in all aspect of its operation. In total commitment to HSE practicability and positive result output, Management shall:
Comply fully with all relevant national and international standards, rules and regulations on Health, Safety and Environment in the discharge of her operations.
Provide enough and sufficient resources to sustain safe implementation of the safety policy for community affairs, safety, health, environment, and security.
Exhibit leading role in HSE participation, monitoring, and compliance.
Prioritize HSE goals and objectives as top agenda at business meetings from management level downwards.
Carry out periodic site inspections and audits to identify unsafe practices and make recommendation to correct any defects on the project.
Recording of accident case(s)/investigations and presenting information in a format/appropriate manner for the use of the company to measure safety performance.
Have a standing order to all staffs and third party staff to STOP work if the work environment or situation becomes unsafe.
Shall chair the monthly HSE meetings for this project.
Recognizing good performance when objectives are achieved.
Allocate experienced and competent personnel to develop and maintain the HSE management system.
Include HSE planning and review in the company’s business planning cycle and meeting structure.
